Music theory lessons are offered at Crescendo Music. Learning theory is vital to progression in any instrument. It gives background knowledge of why music is the way it is and helps the student understand signs, symbols, keys and scales, amongst other things. Exam boards require a Grade 5 theory exam to be passed before proceeding onto Grade 6 or higher of the student's chosen instrument.

 

Music theory is conducted in one-to-one lessons and in small groups, either for adults or for school-aged students.

 

In structured, yet relaxed and fun lessons, each student will make good, enjoyable and well-informed progress.
